The Migration programme provides research and analysis on migration and asylum policies.
The Programme situates the research not only at the regional but also international and intercontinental levels, acknowledging that what unfolds at the EU level is part of the global governance of human mobility. The aim is to contribute to the development of sustainable policy approaches on migration and asylum and promote a constructive and positive dialogue on migration.
The programme looks at issue areas of focus in the EU as well as in Greece including population movements and changing population dynamics; migration management and integration policies with an emphasis on the Pact on Migration and Asylum and its implementation; the foreign policy of migration with an emphasis in the Mediterranean and the Western Balkans, as well as new issue areas such as business and human rights with an emphasis on migrant workers.
